I am an avid baker. I enjoy baking to a great extent, but sometimes (well, most of the time) I forget to take pictures of the steps because I get so wrapped up in what I am doing that I just overlook it. But I mean, the photos are the best part, and they definitely do help when it comes to baking.
The last couple of weeks have been busy with work and school…but more so, MOVING. The dreaded move. I know. K just moved out of his current apartment (due to his disrespectful and extremely unkind roommates) to a beautiful and cute one bedroom cottage. It is super vintage and adorable.

To show a little hospitality, I decided we should make a cheesecake (who doesn’t love cheesecake?) for the neighbor who he would see all the time and introduce ourselves. So I broke out my springform pans and made one of my favorite Layered Turtle Cheesecakes. Here is the recipe that I use from Taste of Home. It is one of my favorites. I won’t post the entire recipe since you can just go to their page, but here are some photos showing the steps and what I used.
It looked and smelled so rich and delicious, that I contemplated not even giving it up…but I had to. Has anyone tried this recipe or a similar one? Let me know how it worked out!
