When I posted about this gallery wall during our living room home tour, I got so many compliments and comments on how I was able to create it and how much it cost K and I to make. With the outpour of love, I wanted to show you all how you can make an affordable gallery wall in your home. This affordable gallery wall is the perfect edition to any home and with some patience and a thrifty eye, it will come together so easily.  This gallery wall cost us less than $70 to make and it is my favorite thing in our entire home! When I was getting inspiration from this on various blogs and websites, I was shocked at how much people spent on items for a gallery wall. It should be fun and adventurous and it should definitely not break the bank!  Almost all of the items were thrifted or on sale and the only thing that I did not purchase myself is the marquee red arrow that was gifted to me from my sweet friend, Carli (you can find affordable ones here and here).  Frames- thrifted at garage sales, store clearance sales, or free Quote Frames- purchased at HomeGoods on Clearance! The mirror was clearance too!  Deer Head- DIY craft I did for under $10 all at Michaels. This simple DIY is composed of 4 items…

K moved into his new house in January and of course home decorating began. The first room I started with was the family/living room Who was more excited? You guessed it–ME, of course! Alright, K was a little excited, but more so because I let him choose some of the color scheme. Did I tell you all that one day I want to do some interior designing? More so, to stage homes when they are up for sale or rent. With thousands of pieces to choose from…in my Pinterest HOME board of course (ps–you should follow me on Pinterest, I post some pretty awesome stuff). I wanted to go with a modern, yet rustic feel in the living room and I love my gold, mint, and navy blue. I loved the idea of mixing colors and patterns, but still making it all work. There is a lot of work to do still but, it is a good start. Plus, this will not be our home forever(notice how I said our, but really I don’t live there–at least not all the time). Just temporary for another year or so. I don’t know about you, but seeing all these awesome DIY projects on Pinterest and reading about other bloggers attempts at a DIY project, makes me feel like I can totally do one. I mean I am pretty crafty and creative, but sometimes you just have to know when something is just not “YOUR THING”. Every Saturday K and I hit up all the local garage sales. It is one of my favorite things to do. We wake up around 7, I throw on some yoga pants and running shoes (ya know, cause I obviously just worked out) and we hit the road. I usually have an idea of which order we are hitting the houses in and if there happens to be a sign along the way just calling my name “LEANNA, LEANNA, COME LOOK AT WHAT ALL THE STUFF WE HAVE” then we make a minor detour to a new destination. A couple of weekends ago, K and I hit the jackpot! His community was hosting their Annual Yard Sale, with over 40 (yes I just said FORTY) homes participating! I was so excited and I could feel the adrenaline rushing through me the night before as I planned out exactly where we would go and in what order. It was genius! As we went to tons of houses, we found so many steals! We bought…
